The Archivist is a first-person psychological horror game that blends reality with the eerie world of VHS tapes. You play as a man who, after following a mysterious lead through a geocaching-like app, finds himself trapped inside an abandoned wooden house. Inside, a glitching TV and a set of VHS tapes become his only way to uncover the truth—and possibly escape. Each tape transports players into unsettling, self-contained worlds filled with tension, puzzles, and psychological terror. With realistic visuals, immersive atmosphere, and a haunting narrative that grows darker with every tape, The Archivist explores obsession, memory, and the things we’re not meant to see.
